CLEAR SKIES TO SIGN ON TO THE UNITED NATIONS-SUPPORTED PRINCIPLES FOR RESPONSIBLE INVESTMENT
MONTREAL, MAY 2nd, 2022 – Clear Skies Investment Management Inc. announced today its official recognition as a signatory of the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), further signaling its priority for maximizing risk-adjusted returns while maximizing positive impact on the planet and society. PRI is the leading international network of institutional investors committed to including environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in their investment decision making.
“As impact investors, our operations are designed to focus on material ESG factors and the responsible stewardship of our client’s capital towards addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals,” says Michel Brutti, Founder and CEO of Clear Skies. “We built our firm from the ground up based on the fundamental principles of responsible investment practices and it’s only natural to sign with the PRI to add accountability to our commitment.”
By adding its name to the other 4683 signatories who have agreed to put into practice six principles for responsible investing, Clear Skies will enhance its strategy with tools and recourses available from industry practitioners. The signatories of the PRI, as the network is known, collectively have some $121.3 trillion in assets under management.

• We will each report on our activities and progress towards implementing the principles.
